Who we are!
Our journey started serendipitously.
We witnessed a fire incident at a neighbour’s home, which showed that many homes are not adequately prepared against fire incidents.
This experience highlighted the gaps in fire safety for residential buildings, including:
– Lack of safety equipment
– Poor maintenance of fire safety equipment, where available,
– Structural deficiencies as many homes are not built according to the building /fire codes
– Lack of training on fire safety and use of safety devices.
We realised that the fire incident we witnessed, and many others across our country, could have been avoided with better prevention and preparedness.
We decided to do our part by creating products and services to tackle these gaps while raising awareness.
Today, Cavanna Fire is a licensed fire safety firm committed to helping parents, homeowners, and estate associations safeguard their loved ones and properties from a fire outbreak.
We are licensed by the Lagos State Fire Service as fire safety equipment dealers, and also licensed by the Federal Fire Service to provide our services in all 36 states of the federation including the FCT.

Chioma has a World Safety Organisation Levels 1-3 certification in HSE. She currently coordinates the fire safety and HSE units of the company.
Prior to joining Cavanna Fire, he was the Site HSE Supervisor at a building site in Lagos State where he provided oversight functions in ensuring safe work practices and risk mitigation on the site.
